Day 4...
What a powder day!
It was so fluffy I even tried a front flip.
Good thing it was deep because I landed on my back.
Enjoy the pics.

This morning I woke to the sound of rain hitting the roof. As it often happens in the mountains, by late in the day the rain started to turn to fluffy flakes. As I write tonight the snow is still falling hard. 6-9 inches so far and probably more on the upper mountain. Tomorrow is going to be a fantastic day to go skiing. The pics are of my trip to Reno today with Keoki. We got back to Squaw around dinner and it was snowing. It's dumping again...I have to go watch.

Squaw Day 2...
Great conditions! The snow from the night before was just enough to blanket the mountain and give us a tremendous powder day.

1st Day of Vacation...
Sunday is going to be a great day with it snowing 6-9 inches today.
Look for more to come.

Roy S. Johnson

I was fortunate enough to have had the privilege of spending time with Patty's father Roy.

Though our relationship was only a few years, he bestowed his advice upon me like a father would.

He had tips for me when it came to tools, building, gardening, and of course his daughter.

I quickly realized that Roy gave this advice because he was passionate about the things he loved.

His family was very important to him and for Roy to accept me into his family was very important to me.

He not only accepted me into his family, but he made sure to get to know mine as well.

He was an exceptional man who will definitely be missed but not forgotten.

The End of 2005

Is it just me or did it seem like this year went by so quickly?
I guess it just seems that way as we get older. When life is so busy, sometimes the days just seem to blend together and it's hard to tell one day from the next. I thought I would try to highlight a few things that happened this year so that later on down the road we could look back and say 'oh yeah, that happened in 2005!'.
