9 yr old Soccer Phenom recruited by Man U

Could you imagine being recruited by one of the largest power houses in soccer at age 9? I couldn't, but that is exactly what happen to Rhain Davis of Australia. He has been asked to join the Manchester United development team. WOW!
His family moved from Australia to Britain so that the young kid can start 2-a-days. The video shows Rhain performing skills that some of the guys I played against in college couldn't display. If he stays healthy they are expecting him to be the next Wayne Rooney. After seeing this video...everyone better beware. This kid is good. I've watched a lot of youth soccer and never have I seen a kid with better ball control.
Good luck to you Rhain...don't burn out..slip some sponge bob in there somewhere...

DJ's Birthday Party

We had both families out for a party at the new house. DJ got some great gifts and had a great day with his cousins. The rest of us stuffed our faces and drank till we couldn't keep our eyes open anymore. Well, the adults anyway! Finally feeling like we are home...broke in the new kitchen, christened the guest bedrooms, bags in the backyard and a late night fire pit. Yeah...we're home.
